Will AI ever replace human emotions?

Book review: 'Klara and the Sun' by Kazuo Ishiguro

For my latest AI book review, I’ve taken a different approach by focusing on fiction as opposed to non-fiction. ‘Klara and the Sun’ by Kazuo Ishiguro is a novel I reference on my AI training courses because it is so effective at challenging us to confront the ethical and philosophical questions this technology raises.

If an AI looks like a human, talks like a human, and acts like a human, to what extent should we treat them like a human?
