  • AI DEMYSTIFIED: What Every Manager Needs To Know

    One-day course


    Target audience

    This dynamic, interactive course is designed for any leaders or managers who want to understand the impact AI is having on their organisation and their competitive environment.  This includes:

    ·       Directors or senior leaders who are responsible for developing an AI strategy.

    ·       Tactical or operational managers responsible for implementing or managing AI in the workplace.


    No prior knowledge of AI is required.


    Course aim

    As AI continues to have a transformative impact on business and wider society, leaders and managers need to develop a robust understanding of this technology that goes beyond media hype and simplistic generalisations.


    This one-day course distils the latest research to explain exactly what AI is, how it works and, crucially, how it is being applied in the real world.  Through an extensive selection of current, real-life case studies, the course demonstrates the opportunities and threats that AI creates.  This leads to actionable insights for immediate application as well as broader concepts to harness AI as it becomes ever more integral to our working lives.

  • RESPONSIBLE AI: Ethics, Governance & Accountability

    Half-day course


    Target audience

    This course is designed for leaders and managers who are responsible for developing or managing technology in the workplace.  This includes:

    ·       Directors who are required to manage AI risk as part of corporate governance.

    ·       Leaders responsible for ensuring compliance with the Artificial Intelligence Act 2024.

    ·       Staff with responsibility for selecting, implementing or managing AI in the workplace.


    Delegates will find it easier to engage with this course if they have some understanding of how machine learning algorithms and Large Language Models work.  Delegates without this understanding are advised to attend the “AI Demystified” course.


    Course aim

    Although most organisations now using some form of AI in the workplace, very few appreciate the governance and regulatory responsibilities that this technology incur.  For example, did you know that your organisation will need to be fully compliant with the EU’s Artificial Intelligence Act by March 2026?!


    This half-day course delves into the ethical dilemmas posed by the increasing prevalence of AI in the workplace, with a particular focus on machine learning algorithms and large language models. Through real-life case studies, participants will explore the ethical challenges of AI and gain insights into its regulation. The course concludes by recommending ethical and governance principles to regulate the use of AI, as well as practical advice on compliance with the Artificial Intelligence Act.

  • DEVELOPING AN AI POLICY for your organisation

    Half-day course


    Target audience

    This ½-day course equips business leaders and decision-makers with the tools and knowledge they need to develop a robust and effective AI policy for their organisation.


    Course aim

    As AI continues to revolutionise the business landscape, organisations need clear, ethical, and actionable policies to guide its use. This practical workshop blends expert insights, real-world examples, and interactive activities to enable participants create a tailored AI policy that aligns with their organisation’s goals, values, and governance obligations.


    Note: while prior knowledge of AI is not essential to attend this course, delegates with an existing understanding of AI will be able to engage at a more advanced level. This course can be combined with our Responsible AI course to create a one-day course that explores and applies the ethical and governance issues in more depth.

    This course is designed for HR leaders, managers and decision-makers who recognise the need to integrate AI into the workplace effectively.  Whether you’re overseeing a team, shaping organisational strategy, or driving innovation, this course will equip you with the knowledge and skills to navigate the AI era confidently.


    Delegates will find it easier to engage with this course if they have some understanding of how machine learning algorithms and Large Language Models work.  Delegates without this understanding are advised to attend the “AI Demystified” course.


    Course aim

    This highly interactive, half-day course provides practical insights into the opportunities and challenges of AI, helping participants build the skills and strategies to lead their teams into the next era of work.  Delegates will critically evaluate the skill sets of AI and humans to determine how these two value-creators could and should work most effectively together in their organisation.


    The course will highlight the current risks around using AI in the workplace (including the informal behaviours that are probably occurring right now in your organisation), present an actionable plan to implement AI strategically and offer practical advice to individuals to future-proof their careers.
