Book review: 'Living with AI' by Stuart Russell
My latest AI book review isn’t actually a book but the 2021 Reith Lectures by Stuart Russell, entitled ‘Living with Artificial Intelligence’. These BBC lectures are a must-listen for anyone who wants to understand AI’s impact on our society, our economy and even the way we wage war.
I use Russell’s definition of AI on my courses to enable delegates to differentiate between genuine AI and traditional technology masquerading as something it isn’t. This differentiation comes in very handy if you’re faced with a pushy salesperson over-promising on software functionality!
