Harnessing Artificial Intelligence

This dynamic, one-day course explores the past, present and future of Artificial Intelligence (AI): how it has developed, how it is currently being used and how it is expected to develop in the future.
This course will benefit professionals who want to get beyond the popular media coverage to understand more about what AI really is and the impact it will have on their business and career.

The 21st century accountant

This course is vital for any accountant who plans to be working in the profession in the next decade or beyond. It draws on the latest research by ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and IFAC to demonstrate how we need to develop our skills and behaviours so that our profession retains its value in the modern business environment. 


Management Development Programme

I deliver tailor-made programmes for managers to develop their skills in an interactive and supportive environment.  Courses last from 1 - 4 days and cover topics such as recruiting staff; managing performance (including disciplinaries); developing staff through coaching, mentoring and delegation; understanding organisational cultures and building teams.

Managing stress

Stress is all too common in the modern business environment, but it is not inevitable.  This course explains the science of stress before exploring practical aspects.  This includes recognising the signs and effects of stress, identifying personal stress factors and developing stress reducing techniques and strategies.


Managing virtual teams

With teams increasingly unlikely to share the same physical workspace, this course explores the practical implications for line managers who manage virtual teams.  It demonstrates different management styles and how to motivate team members.  It also considers challenges around communicationand how to set appropriate goals and objectives.

This course, which can be tailored to cover 1 - 4 days, gives non-accountants the necessary tools to understand the finances of a business and make effective decisions for its future.  It demystifies much of the technical jargon and provides insight into how financial statements are prepared and how they can be understood.

This course is designed to give non-accountants a range of practical financial skills which can be used to analyse commercial opportunities and make informed choices as to their suitability, acceptability and feasibility.
